learn German through acting
Do you know some German but are afraid to speak? Do you know lots of
words but still find yourself sometimes speechless?
In this course we work exactly on these subjects through acting:
To let go of the fear and discuss
many different themes, taking on different roles and have fun doing it...
The method: saying a lot through simple words. All levels are welcome, no experience in acting required.
the teacher:
Sigrid Unterstab was educated at the universities TU Dresden and UdK Berlin in Russian, Art, German as a Foreign Language and Drama Teaching and holds a Staatsexamen (state examination degree). She speaks English, Russian, Spanish and Italian.

references:
I was excited to develop something with people from all around the world, without being in a pre-decided frame.
Roberta B., Italy
I had lots of fun acting, it has broaded my horizonts.
Tsukasa O., Japan
It was important, that every character had a different nature to it.
Robbie A., Scottland
Acting on a stage is a chance to become what I would never be able to be
in everyday's life. For a moment or for one hour, it is a journey in one's
self where we can explore hidden feelings and personalities we did not know we
had.
Giovanni R., Italy
Sigrid Unterstab has developed a fantastic new language learning system. It
is a fun and dynamic method of learning that also produces great results.
Her classes are energetic and stimulating. The approach to language learning
is highly original, and I found it to be highly effective too. It enabled me
to do my work in berlin to a much better standard."
John Hardwick, UK (working in Berlin in autumn 2006 at HAU-theatre directing "Gantenbein")
